Chris Lighty’s Family Launches Petition

''The NYPD Did Not Do A Thorough Investigation'' 7:30PM ET May 22nd, 2013 Contributor : Stephen Willis A Rocky Williform Company The family of late music manager Chris Lighty is seeking further investigation into the circumstances surrounding Lighty's apparent suicide. The family has launched a petition urging that certain forensic tests be conducted that were not taken care of at the time of the famed industry mainstay's August 2012 death. “The main problem that we encountered was that the NYPD did not do a thorough investigation into Chris’ death,� Attorney Scott Leemon said in a statement. “In fact, what they did do was cursory, at best.� Leemon states that a gunpowder residue test was not conducted at the death scene, nor was a DNA test conducted on the weapon used in the death. “We have uncovered real information that needs to be followed up on by those in authority," said Lighty's mother. The family's petition is available to sign at iPetition.

Paris Hilton has found a new home, and some of her roommates include Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. The heiress/singer/”Bling Ring” actress has reportedly signed with Cash Money Records.

Hilton broke the news to Showbiz 411, adding that she hopes to have her follow-up to 2006′s self-titled debut out by summer. She added it will feature a number of hip-hop acts, including Weezy, and production from EDM superstar Afrojack. “This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris told the site. “It’s really going to be house music.” – MTV

A Rocky Williform Company In an interview with TheNEHipHop, Wu-Tang Clan rhymer Ghostface Killah talked about the upcoming Wu reunion project A Better Tomorrow. There have rumors of tensions and delays, and Ghost says that the crew, while still focused on the project, isn't going to rush anything just to say they released an album.

"We've got plans to give the people another album," he said. "But we all decided, just because we came out in November in '93 don't mean that we have to drop in November [2013]. I would say, if the music is not right, let's not give it to the people until it's right. That's me. I don't want to rush nothin'. Then you start hearin' a bunch of bullsh*t. That's where I'm at with mines, though."

Paris Hilton Has Joined Cash Money

Socialite Working On A New Album 4:30PM ET May 22nd, 2013 Contributor : Chris G. A Rocky Williform Company Socialite Paris Hilton informed Showbiz411 that AfroJack will produce her upcoming album which will be released on Cash Money Records. She says that she's moving into a direction more associated with house music, as opposed to the Top 40 dance pop of her first and only album, 2006s Paris. "This is a lot different than my first album," Hilton said. "It's really going to be house music." She also has plans to DJ in Ibiza, Spain. The news of her Cash Money deal comes seemingly out of the blue and the label has yet to explain the specifics or confirm that has inked a deal.
