YMCMB affiliates Busta Bust and Nicki Minaj take on the sizzling season with the new raunchy remix of “Twerk It.” Hate her or love her, Nicki’s amazing any time she gets into her dancehall vibe; the Trinidadian gets her Patois on and twerks it for ya boy.
The fresh cut is produced by Pharrell and its impending video was shot in Brooklyn, by none other than Director X. While we wait for the visual to unveil, peep the track after the jump.

Busta Rhymes – “Twerk It” Ft. Nicki Minaj
♫ iTUNES ♫

Nicki remixes Busta’s latest Pharrell-produced single, of course. Premiere by Flex.
UPDATE: CDQ.

We originally heard the track “Somebody Else“ that Baltimore native Mario joined by Young Money’s First Lady Nicki Minaj dropped last month.
This time around, the Polow da Don produced track is now in the hands of R&B crooner Chris Brown. Breezy put his spin on the track, adding some bars towards the end (which by-the-way seems more personal for him).
Either way, both versions does it for me. Listen and decide for yourself.

Nicki Minaj seems to be on the up and up, expanding her brand rather quickly.
The former American Idol judge has added one more job to her resume as she has just teamed up with Myx Fusions — a fruit-infused moscato brand. In addition to being part owner, Minaj will also be the face of the brand.
Mona Scott-Young, part owner and Chief Marketing Officer says “The collaboration between Nicki Minaj and Myx Fusion is a game changer,” while the 30-year-old, Nicki, is more than happy to take part in this new project.
On joining Myx Fusion:
I am so excited to team with the Myx brand. I have no doubt that it will be number one. It’s a great-tasting, amazing product that people will love. It’s not even a hard sell. Myx Fusions gives us an opportunity to revolutionize the wine industry.
Myx Fusions will launch a marketing campaign that would include radio, print, television ads and special events.

Russell Simmons is reuniting with HBO. The media mogul has signed a two-year first-look deal with the cable network. Under the deal, Simmons will create and develop projects for HBO. In years past, HBO was home to Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam, which helped propel the careers of several African American comedians. And the cult favorite, Def Poetry that featured many industry legends reciting some amazing poems.
According to a source:
HBO has the right of “first refusal” on projects Simmons proposes to develop. If they’re not interested and they decline to back it, then Simmons can offer it up to other networks.
With season four of The Voice winding down, the question is, ‘who’s judging next season?’ Season four brought in newbie judges Shakira and Usher, replacing original judges Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green, whom left this season to pursue other projects.
Usher and Shakira’s enthusiasm for judging and popularity with fans has landed them back to the show for Season 6 of the singing competition. Christina and Cee-Lo will be back at their posts next season; season 5.
The American Idol diva face-off has ended. Judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey have officially left their judging posts after one season.
Nicki tweeted:
Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn’t trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!!
Mariah is currently promoting her smash single “#Beautiful” with R&B crooner Miguel, and prepping for a world tour, later this year.

Bad girl Rih has been on fire lately and everyone knows it!
Rihanna has been dabbling into plenty as of late – her River Island clothing line, world tour, and now topping Complex’s ‘Hottest Women’ annual list.
Far from shy and never biting her tongue, the “Diamonds” singer has grabbed the media’s attention and snagged plenty of headlines.
The 25-year-old seven-time Grammy winner will also return to the big screen in June for a cameo in This is the End and has just released the single cover for her pop song, “Right Now”, featuring French producer/artist David Guetta.
Take a look at her new single cover after the jump…

Beyonce, of course, came very close in topping the list claiming the fourth spot — her lucky number. Scandals Kerry Washington placed fifth while rapper turned American Idol judge Nicki Minaj placed seventh.
