With the three day weekend getting under way for most of us, the artist formerly known as A Tribe Called West has decided to repeat last week’s public screenings and his visage will once again be display throughout random spots in Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Houston, Jacksonville, Miami, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego, Savannah or Tucson. Fabolous Announces Loso’s Way 2 Delay (Video)

While J. Cole chose to push his album up to match Kanye West on June 18th, Fabolous has different plans. In a recent sit down with Rap-Up (after his performance in LA), Loso reveals that due to some “technicalities” Loso’s Way 2 will not hit shelves in late July (23rd or 30th to be exact). Features to include Young Jeezy, Struggle Falsetto, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, 2 Chainz and Trey Songz.

“Just a little bit of growth. I’ma give you what I do and some collaborations here and there, but definitely some evolution as an artist, as a man, as a father, as a friend,” he said of the sequel to 2009’s Loso’s Way. “Just talking about some real shit and still doing what I do, giving you some witty lines, giving you some catchy stuff for the ladies. Just good music overall.”

Kanye West Announces Yeezus Album Title & Release Date

Kanye West’s once-cryptic “June 18th” tweet was in fact the release date for his sixth studio album, Yeezus, as confirmed by Rap Up. This comes a day after he literally world-premiered “New Slaves” projected onto 66 buildings scattered throughout the world. As he will appear on tonight’s Saturday Night Live season finale, there is a chance where Kanye will perform “New Slaves” live. #YEEZYSEASON. SHAKE UPDATE: I’m not sure why some of y’all are even remotely shocked Kanye would title his album Yeezus. Y’all do remember this Rolling Stone cover I put up top right? That was 2006!

Guess What Rapper Will Be Joining Kanye West On the Anchorman 2 Cast?

The NY Daily Times recently snapped a few photos of the filming of the highly-anticipated Anchorman sequel in NYC, and spotted amongst Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate on set is one rapper who already has his acting chops rooted, Drake. Looks like the once wheel-chair-bound actor will join the ranks of Kanye, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Harrison Ford, Sacha Baron Cohen, Liam Neeson, Nicole Kidman, Jim Carrey and the rest of the original cast.
