Go crazy to this.
It’s not looking too good for Chris Brown.
The singer, who voluntarily checked in to a rehab facility on October 29 and discharged unexpectedly after a few weeks has now been ordered to complete 90 days of additional rehab during his court visit on Wednesday November 20.
In addition to getting more help during his probation period, a Los Angeles County judge (James Brandlin) ordered the 24-year-old to submit a periodic drug testing.
The New York Daily News reports that Brown was kicked out of anger management after throwing a rock through his mother’s car window as per a letter from the treatment center. The letter further states that on November 10, Chris Brown and his mother disagreed with his plans of leaving the facility earlier than expected.
With his X-Files mixtape, Chris Brown drops five new songs that didn’t make the final cut for his heavily-anticipated X album.
The 24 year-old took to Twitter to announce the news recently. Saying,
since we pushed the album back to December 3, on 11-19-13 ima release 5 new songs just for my fans. Love y’all. These 5 are bangers so y’all better buy X’ dammit!! Lol.
Perhaps laying low or rehab is what Chris Brown needs. And according to E! News, the singer has elected to the latter.
In a statement, a rep for Brown said he’s checked into a rehab facility for anger management following his appearance in court on assault charges from being involved in a fight this past weekend.
His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.
Chris Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, dropped him off at a facility Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 28).
Chris Brown’s decisions not only have made things hard on him, but also have effected other careers as well.
He was supposed to perform at the Roseland Ballroom on a co-headlining show with the newly reformed Danity Kane, but even after Chris’s release from prison, promoters from 92.3 Now Scream have announced that the show will not happen.
The ladies of Danity Kane, Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres took to their official Facebook page to let fans know what has happened:
While in our final rehearsal for tomorrow’s show with Chris Brown at Roseland Ballroom, we received the unfortunate news that, due to circumstances beyond our control, the show has been cancelled. We are deeply distraught by the cancellation as we’ve been working hard for weeks to record and rehearse new music for you, the fans. We were so excited to share it with you and are already working hard to find the soonest possible opportunity to reschedule.
If you follow the girls on their personal Instagram pages, you can see that they have been going super hard with rehearsals for the show! It’s unfortunate that Chris Brown’s crazy antics had to lead to the show being canceled. Fans are really excited about this Danity Kane reunion and the fact that their first show after their reunion being canceled has put a huge damper on their whole roll-out!
Screaming fans, family and friends — including R&B singer Trey Songz — showed their support on the afternoon of October 28 as Chris Brown was released on misdemeanor charges. The initial felony assault charge was reduced due to conflicting witness statements.
On October 27, TMZ reported that the singer was arrested after attacking and allegedly uttering homophobic slurs at a man outside of the W Hotel in Washington D.C . Brown, 24, allegedly punched the man once in the face after he jumped into a photograph he was taking with some female fans.
That story changed to the victim, instead, trying to get on Brown’s tour bus. His bodyguard, who was also arrested, attacked the man in attempt to protect Brown while he remained on the bus.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they’re conducting an investigation which would determine whether Chris violated his probation surrounding the 2009 Rihanna case. If he’s found guilty and probation is revoked, Chris could face 4 years in State prison.
CNN adds that Brown’s attorney, Danny Onaratol, is confident he would be “exonerated of any wrongdoing.” Brown and his bodyguard are due back in court on November 24.
