Rapper Claims Documentary Violated Copyright
Superstar Lil Wayne has filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III. According to TMZ, the suit alleges that Jones violating copyright by using Wayne's music in the 2009 documentary "The Carter." The songs "Lollipop," "Let the Beat Build," "A Mill and "Dontgetit" are all featured in the doc, and Wayne claims that Jones and the film's producers didn't seek approval for the songs. Wayne previously sued to block the film's release. He is currently suing for unspecified damages. |
