Max B’s Conviction Upheld
|
Rapper Will Remain In Prison Until 2042
Earlier this year, Max B was optimistic about his chances at winning his appeal, but the incarcerated Dipset affiliate will remain in prison for the remainder of his 75-year sentence. The conviction for his role in a 2006 murder-robbery has been upheld. Max was convicted in 2009 for the murder of David Taylor. He will serve the entirety of his sentence without the possibility of parole, with his official release date scheduled for November 9th, 2042. His appeal was based on his argument that the judge who tried him had made a mistake by refusing his request to be tried separately from his partner, Kevin Leerdam. The rapper's attorney has yet to speak on the failed appeal. |
