Kile Glover, the young son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond died this weekend from heart failure after he was taken off of life support. The 11-year old suffered permanent brain damage earlier this month after he was involved in a jet ski accident. He was declared brain dead after the incident. Several celebrities shared their sadness over the news. ":( My condolences & support go out to @TamekaRaymond @UsherRaymondIV #RIPKile," tweeted Lil Kim. "RIP Kile. Usher's 11-years old Stepson," added Meek Mill following the news. "RT for respect." "The unthinkable for Tameka, Ryan and Usher. my heart is so heavy..." Russell Simmons tweeted. The family issued a statement following their loss, as well. "We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family said in a statement to CNN. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now." |
